We understand that seeking support through counselling or coaching can raise questions, and we're here to provide clarity. What is the difference between Coaching and Counselling?

Counselling focuses on helping individuals process emotions and heal from current/past experiences, while coaching is more action-oriented, focusing on setting and achieving goals. Our integrated service offers the best of both.

Who should seek Counselling?

Anyone can seek emotional support for various reasons such as listed below and more;

  • Persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness.
  • Loss of interest in previously enjoyable activities.
  • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions.
  • Changes in sleep or appetite.
  • Thoughts of self-harm or suicide.
  • Need a non-judgemental, respectful and unbiased space to talk about anything and everything that is impacting your daily life activities and mental wellbeing negatively.
  • Need a space and support in creating awareness of identifiable patterns/behaviours for change.

How do I know if I need Counselling, Coaching or both?

During your initial session, we will discuss your concerns and goals, helping you decide the best path forward based on your unique situation.

Can I switch between Counselling and Coaching?

Yes! However, we need to agree between us on the end of one service before transitioning to another due to the different approaches used. Many clients find that their needs evolve over time. I offer flexible options, so you can transition between counselling and coaching services as needed. 

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, making it easy to access our services no matter where you are.

What is walk & talk session?

It is another type of in-person session where we get to have a session whilst walking in a quiet and peaceful outdoor setting, like a park, garden, or beach, rather than sitting in a room. The dual approach (killing 2 birds with one stone) of exercising (recommended for optimal wellbeing) and conversing at your convenience and saving time is ideal for you if you love the outdoors and nature and have a hectic schedule.

Do you provide home service for both Counselling and Coaching?

Yes, home service is available in Ghana ONLY. For detailed information on rates and packages, please visit the pricing page or contact me and send a message or call/whatsapp any of the numbers provided specifying your requirements for actual costs.

Can I mix the various modes of sessions?

Yes, you can. However it depends on my availability, which will have to be agreed in advance.

Is everything I share during sessions confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is a core principle of our practice. I am guided by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Ghana Psychology Council's (GPC) ethical guidelines. Anything discussed during sessions remains private unless in rare occasions where you give explicit permission, or in cases required by law as exceptions. These are outlined in the written client and counsellor agreement and in addition, reviewed in our 1st session. 

How long does each session last?

Typically, sessions last about 60 minutes, but the duration can be adjusted based on your preferences and needs.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on you and the issues being addressed. Some people benefit from a single to few sessions, while others may prefer ongoing support over a longer period.Sessions vary from weekly, fortnightly, and monthly depending on the pressing needs, requirements, circumstances, and regular reviews.   

What can I expect during my first session?

Your first session will focus on client and counsellor agreement review, assessment, understanding your concerns and what you hope to achieve. Whether through coaching or counselling, we'll explore your needs and start outlining a plan tailored specifically for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the space to someone else in need of support.

Should you provide 24 hrs notice, your session will be rescheduled for another date. However, non-attendance and cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable, except in cases of emergencies for which prior notice is still required.

What happens when I am running late for my session?

You can call/WhatsApp on nominated numbers. Remember our contact is limited to informing me of either a cancellation or lateness. Please note that if you are more than 30 minutes late after your confirmed booking time, your session will be cancelled, and you will need to reschedule for the next available session.

Can I end Counselling or Coaching sessions anytime?

You or I have the right to terminate the counselling or coaching relationship at any time. I require 2 sessions' notice, which includes an ending session, should either of us request termination of the relationship. This will give you time to organise alternative arrangements (should you wish to continue) and for me to offer the slot to others who require my support before we end our work together.

How much do your sessions cost?

Session fees vary depending on the type of service and duration. Competitive pricing are available for counselling, coaching, or integrated sessions.

Discounted block booking packages are also available. This must be paid upfront to get the discount. For more details on rates, please visit our pricing page or contact me directly.


Can I get a specific quote for Coaching services?

Absolutely! A range of coaching services tailored to meet your specific needs and goals are available. Pricing varies depending on the type of coaching support required. What are the discounts available?

Discounts are available for a minimum of 6 sessions for counselling and 3 sessions for coaching.

What is the duration limit for packages to be used?

Packages are valid for only the duration they were purchased.

Do you charge for assessment report requests?

I provide letters at no fees however there is a charge for reports. You can contact me for specific rates.
